The Intermediate Intensive with ISABELLA is five full days of focused, high-level training for adult dancers who are ready to leave the basics behind and step into something that truly tests them. Sharper technique. Greater musicality. A standard that matches your ambition.
About This Level

This level is for intermediate adult dancers (18+) who already have a solid foundation and are ready to step into greater complexity, clarity, and confidence in their training.
At this level, we are no longer introducing the basics. We are refining them. You will be asked to think more deeply about placement, coordination, musicality, and line, while developing the strength and stamina needed for fuller, more demanding classes. Our work will be focused, encouraging, and purposeful.

You'll Love This Intensive If:
- You trained seriously when you were younger and are returning to ballet with real commitment.
- You are rebuilding after a long break and ready to push your technique forward.
- You have a consistent training practice and can take a full class with complexity and confidence.
- You are comfortable moving at pace, adapting to combinations without step-by-step explanation, and being challenged at a high level.
This Intensive May Not Be Right For You If:
- You are still building basic coordination or stamina
- You are new to full-length classes with centre work and allegro
- You are still learning directions and terminology
- You feel overwhelmed by faster-paced combination
Application Process
To create a space that feels high-level, focused, and supportive, where everyone can grow at the right pace and work to a similarly high standard, we ask for a short audition video before your place is confirmed.

Intermediate requires an application, here’s everything you need to have ready before you buy.
Step 1: Prepare your video.
Before tickets go live, film a 5 to 10 minute application video. Ayumi Hirusaki’s album to use for your video is HERE.
If you have a variation or repertoire you’d like to include, you’re welcome to do so.
Upload your video to WeTransfer or YouTube (set it to unlisted), so it can only be viewed by us or anyone with the link. Have that link copied and ready to go before you start checkout, once your ticket is in your basket, you’ll only have a few minutes to complete your purchase, so we recommend having it to hand.
Step 2: Purchase your ticket.
Tickets go on sale:
- Prima Member Release: Saturday 25th July 2026 at 2pm BST
- General Release: Sunday 26th July 2026 at 2pm BST
Step 3: Submit your application video link at checkout.
Before completing your purchase, you’ll be asked to fill in a short form, this is where you’ll paste in the link to your application video. With your basket on the clock, it’s worth having that link ready to paste in straight away. Without a video link, we won’t be able to hold your place, and we’d have to void and refund your ticket.
Step 4: Application review.
Within 7 days of receiving your video link, we’ll review your submission and confirm your place. If we feel another level would support your training more effectively, we’ll reach out to discuss options, subject to availability, or offer a full refund.

The Schedule
The intermediate intensive runs across five full training days, typically from around 9:00am to 5:30pm. A high level of fitness, technique, and confidence en pointe are expected at this level.
Mid-week, we host an informal social in the studio after class, a chance to connect with Isabella and your fellow dancers away from the barre.
Please note the schedule shown is a guide and subject to change. Your final schedule will be shared with you ahead of the intensive.

Not at all! The social is optional, but it’s included in your ticket price and they’re a fun chance to get to know Isabella and your fellow dancers.

Absolutely not. As long as you’re 18+ and comfortable with a few full dance classes a week, you’re more than welcome to join us.
We offer Intensives for all levels, from Ballet Lab to Advanced. Visit our website for upcoming events and availability.
For our Advanced and Intermediate Intensives, you should be confident dancing en pointe, as pointe work is included throughout the programme.
For our Improver and Beginner Intensives, being en pointe is not required. Pointe classes at these levels focus on pre-pointe training, making them beneficial for all dancers. You’ll work on strengthening your feet, ankles, and legs through targeted exercises that build the technique and stability needed for pointe work in the future. These classes are valuable whether you’re already dancing en pointe or not.
The Intensive is designed to be taken as a full experience. If you absolutely must miss one day, let us know in advance. We’ll try to help, but we strongly recommend attending the full event.

We offer a 50% refund if you cancel more than 2 months before the start of the Intensive. If you cancel within 2 months of the event, tickets are non-refundable.
No, unfortunately we no longer accept ticket swaps.
You’ll receive a detailed full welcome pack before the event with everything you need to know – including what to bring, what to wear and how to prepare. We’ve got you covered!
Absolutely! Just enjoy it in the designated areas and bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your start time. A team member will welcome you and take you to the studio.
