The Ballet Lab is back, and this year we are doing something new. For the first time ever, we are splitting into two dedicated age groups – a Junior Lab for dancers aged 10 to 13, and a Senior Lab for dancers aged 14 to 18 – so that every dancer gets the focused, personalised experience they deserve. The Lab is a welcoming space created for young dancers to experiment, grow, and discover what they are truly capable of, without the fear of making mistakes. No big group classes where you can get lost in the crowd. No pressure to perform. Just you, the work, and the breakthroughs that come when you finally get the attention and corrections you need.
The Senior Lab is three full days of deep, focused training for dancers who are ready to be challenged at a higher level. This is where you get into the details, the corrections that actually stick, the technique breakthroughs you have been working towards, and the space to grow as both a dancer and an artist.
A Vaganova technique class, technique deep-dives, pointe for those en pointe, repertoire, conditioning, and stretch.
To make sure every dancer is in the right room and gets the most from their time at the Lab, we ask for a short video before your place is confirmed. This is not an audition. It is simply so we can understand your current level and support you in the best way possible.
Step 1 – Film your video.
Here is what to film:
Upload your video to WeTransfer or YouTube (set it to unlisted), so it can only be viewed by us or anyone with the link.
Step 2 – Purchase your ticket.
Tickets go on sale:
Step 3 – Submit your video link at checkout.
Step 4 – Application review.
