We're warming up

We're taking a short pause while Ballet With Isabella steps into something new. Same world-class training. A bigger mission behind it. This next chapter is about more than ballet. It's about how you train, and how you show up – in and out of the studio.

About this Course

Few things in ballet are as thrilling or challenging as a series of fouettés on pointe. These iconic turns demand more than momentum. They require a storm of control, strength, speed, and stamina.

This course breaks fouettés down into clear, achievable layers. You’ll build from the ground up, starting with essential barre drills and alignment, then moving through spotting, use of the back, centre turns, and finally to variations and the legendary 32 fouettés. Along the way, you’ll learn to troubleshoot common issues like losing balance, drifting across the floor, or running out of steam mid-turn.

Each lesson has a specific focus to help you feel strong, supported, and in control. Whether you’re aiming for a solid single or pushing toward multiple fouettés en pointe, this course gives you the tools to turn with power and polish — and actually enjoy it.

Is this course for me? Yes if..

  • You’re a dancer preparing to perform fouettés on pointe for the first time and want a clear, methodical approach
  • You’re looking to refine your technique and gain consistency, strength, and control in every turn
  • You’re struggling to stay centred, spot clearly, or finish your turns with polish and want to break bad habits
  • You’re wanting to understand the mechanics of fouettés step by step so you can self-correct and feel confident
  • You’re building stamina and aiming for clean multiple fouettés in performance, exams, or auditions
  • You’re tired of feeling thrown into the deep end with fouettés and want real tools and corrections that work

  • You’re looking for choreography-based turning sequences rather than technical drills
  • You’re working through a foot or ankle injury and not cleared to turn en pointe
