We're warming up

We're taking a short pause while Ballet With Isabella steps into something new. Same world-class training. A bigger mission behind it. This next chapter is about more than ballet. It's about how you train, and how you show up – in and out of the studio.

BWI - Isabella dancing

We'll be back soon. In the meantime... keep it moving

About this Course

En dedans turns can feel like they go against everything your body wants to do. But what if they didn’t?

In this course, we strip back the mystery and build up your understanding layer by layer, from floor barre drills to centre turns. You’ll learn how to feel the wrap of the thigh, the coordination of the back, the spot, the support. It’s not just strength. It’s sensation. It’s control.

We’ll tackle the most common blocks and replace them with technique you can rely on – so you’re not just hoping for a clean pirouette, you’re making one. Whether it’s a single or multiple, the tools are all here.

This is about building the kind of turns that hold up under pressure. Because the best turners aren’t lucky. They’re consistent.

Is this course for me? Yes if..

  • You’re a dancer who dreads en dedans and wants to feel confident turning left
  • You’re looking to improve your consistency, control, and technique in pirouettes
  • You’re struggling to feel the initiation of a turn or keep your hips and spot working together
  • You’re wanting practical drills that break down the turn and help you feel what’s going wrong
  • You’re curious about how floor barre can transform your turns from the ground up

Look for another course if...

  • You’re looking for fouetté or en dehors-specific turning work
  • You already have consistent multiple en dedans pirouettes and want to work on variations
  • You’re currently recovering from injury and not ready for full turn training
  • You want a choreography-based course (this one is all drills and breakdowns)
