About this Course

Welcome to my Ballet in the water course! This is a method of working in the water that Isabella designed herself when she was coming back from serious injury.

Isabella  was someone who had been working her turnout wrong for years, actually inhibiting it, and it wasn’t until she had a major injury of her hip, that she decided she wasn’t going to rush back from injury, and she was going to rehab the right way. She didn’t have time for expensive physio appointments or PT training but she had access to a gym and a pool.

She knew she wanted to connect to my deeper hip muscles, She wanted standing in fifth to feel easier, She wanted to feel more connected to my inner thighs, She wanted adage to feel more supported and lighter. All those things are possible if you know how to work. This course is designed to slow you way down, and get you connected like you have never been before. You will be so surprised at how much more grounded and stable you feel when you come out of the pool.

This is literally a secret weapon. Had Isabella known, that while she was spending those many months alone in the pool, working by herself that one day she would be here sharing it with you, helping more and more of you, She doesn’t think she would have believed it. Truly, this means the world for her to share.

Before we begin – a few things!

  1. If you’re sensitive to cold, don’t do more than 30 minutes at a time. Do this at a time where it’s not too busy to allow for still waters and maximum focus. We don’t want a choppy pool or to feel like you can’t move freely.
  2. As our head is above water the whole time, the best thing to do is wear your airpods, or better yet some waterproof Bluetooth headphones, popping your phone on a towel a few feet away from the pool in a plastic bag.
  3. You will need a float and If you have access to a noodle even better but it’s not essential.
  4. You don’t need to do all the classes in one go. As this is a method, it will take time to feel good. It’s going to feel hard for a while and a little bit of a challenge but I promise it will get better the more you do it! I would aim for a couple of times a week if you can and more in the summer or when you are on holiday.

Let’s dive in!
