  • 32 calf rises each leg! – keep it slow and controlled
  • 30 glute bridges – lengthen through the floor
  • 1 minute plank - embrace the shakes!
  • 4 x 30 second balances in retiré each side – if you fall, we start from the top!
  • Practice your pirouettes from 5th and 4th each side. Try each turn until you feel 1 percent progress
  • An arabesque each side – master it, and make it clean
  • 1 minute butterfly stretch – breathe, don’t force, keep your back long and actively push the knees out

About this Guide

This course is designed to give you the solid foundation every dancer deserves. Whether you’re brand new to ballet or coming back after time away, this guide takes you step by step through essential technique with expert cues and corrections to guide you.

Each lesson focuses on building the proper alignment, strength and awareness needed for beautiful ballet movement, all while developing poise, grace and control from the very beginning. The course requires only 5–20 minutes of practice per day, making it easy to stay consistent and see progress quickly, even with a busy schedule.

The barre is where so much ballet magic begins. So let’s get to work. Together, we’ll lay the groundwork for the dancer you’re becoming.
