We're taking a short pause while Ballet With Isabella steps into something new. Same world-class training. A bigger mission behind it. This next chapter is about more than ballet. It's about how you train, and how you show up – in and out of the studio.

- 32 calf rises each leg! – keep it slow and controlled
- 30 glute bridges – lengthen through the floor
- 1 minute plank - embrace the shakes!
- 4 x 30 second balances in retiré each side – if you fall, we start from the top!
- Practice your pirouettes from 5th and 4th each side. Try each turn until you feel 1 percent progress
- An arabesque each side – master it, and make it clean
- 1 minute butterfly stretch – breathe, don’t force, keep your back long and actively push the knees out
The Improver level is often described as Advanced Beginner. It is for adult dancers (18+) who already have some ballet experience and are ready to move beyond the basics into more continuous, demanding work.
At this level, we begin to connect technique across the whole body with greater clarity and speed. You will refine alignment, coordination, and musicality, while building the strength and control needed for more complex combinations. The focus is on understanding, consistency, and steady progress – not perfection.

You'll love this intensive if:
- You have around 2-4 years of ballet training
- You have attended a Beginner level Intensive and feel ready for more challenge
- You can follow a full barre and simple centre combinations
- You can pick up basic choreography
- You recognise basic ballet terminology without it needing explanation
This Intensive May Not Be Right For You If:
- You are still learning directions and terminology
- You are looking for drop-in classes or a part-time workshop (this intensive is a full 5 days).
- You aren’t interested in focusing on the minute details of technique
