    Welcome to the Stronger Pointe Course!

    This course is designed to help you take your strength of pointe work to the next level.

    This course involves exercises to strengthen the feet, barre drills and centre drills.

    Simple exercises that are certainly going to help you build the strength you need.

    Isabella’s tips and helpful insights will help you work correctly and in a smart way!

    Suitable for the intermediate dancer looking to strengthen their pointe and condition the legs!

    Course breakdown.
    Stronger Pointe Course – Intro

    Welcome to the course! First of all Isabella will introduce the course as well as share her top tips towards making her shoes last longer and a little into her experience with pointe shoes and more! This Course is full of exercises and drills to get your pointe work stronger from home. Perfect for those looking to step up their pointe work or who are gaining strength after coming back from injury. Let’s Start!

    Stronger Pointe Course – Lesson 1

    In this lesson we will be gong through key exercises for the feet along with lower leg drills at the barre. Making sure your feet and legs are strong is key to getting stronger on pointe. If you want to eventually achieve doing fouettés on pointe but can’t do 8 plié relevés on pointe, then of course fouettés will be hard. Let’s start with building the strength of the lower leg and intrinsic muscles of the lower legs. Your Pointe work will instantly feel stronger and it will only get better!

    Stronger Pointe Course – Lesson 2

    In this Lesson we will be working the intrinsic muscles of the foot at the barre challenging the muscles and progressively getting more difficult. If you’re looking to strengthen your legs and feet, this class can be done regularly as part of your routine so you really start to get comfortable in the pointe shoes. Your legs will feel so much stronger when you’re in flat shoes after doing these exercises regularly. Let’s go!

    Stronger Pointe Course – Final lesson

    In our final lesson we will be doing our centre drills! These exercises are not complicated but challenging to do well. They will help your build foundational strength. The more controlled you can do these exercises the better. As they are simple, it will be easy for you to see how they are progressing as you gain more control and strength. Enjoy the final lesson! Keep coming back to the course again!

    Founder

    ​Isabella trained at The Royal Ballet School and then became the first British girl to join the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg at 15 where she studied for 4 years. She joined the Mikhailovsky Ballet in Russia as a soloist and later danced with Eifman Ballet.
