Floor Barre Core

This Floor Barre class one adds a lot more abs, upper body and core work. When you do this class focus on how your abs help lead and turnout the legs. By focusing on sending your leg away from your abs your hips will instantly be much more free.

Turnout Stretch Class

This class is designed for dancers with a good level of flexibility in the hips looking to increase further getting closer towards flat turnout. We will be doing some advanced stretches to help increase range in the hips and lower leg turnout. 

Dancers Core

he Dancer’s Core class is designed for intermediate-level dancers looking to strengthen their core through functional movements that enhance their ballet performance. This class focuses on building a strong, stable core to support balance, flexibility, and precise movements. Each exercise is chosen to challenge the body while directly benefiting ballet technique and posture, ensuring the strengthening of your ‘powerhouse’ the key to controlled seamless movements both in studio and on stage.

Advanced Pointe Course.- Lesson 1

Lesson 1 of this course will introduce you to key exercises on the floor with the theraband and pilates ball. We will then stand up and do some lower leg stabilising exercises and drills to increase strength of the ankles and calves

This is the ultimate arabesque workout. Be a beast and do two rounds and you will be in a new league of arabesque in no time. A Lot of dancers have a flexible back but then lack the strength to lift the leg high. This is where this workout comes in! Foot and Anke Strength

Level 2: 1. To activate essential hip stabilisers; gluteus medius and maximus. 2. To further develop single leg stability with increased perturbations. 3. To progress plantar flexion strength endurance, advance tendon loading and build tissue capacity to single leg positions. 4. To learn how to utilise hip stabilisers to support foot and ankle movement. 5. To introduce plyometric and agility components, learning to control accelerating, decelerating and direction control.

Mat Madness – Turnout and Stretch

In this class we go a little lighter in the intensity and focus on the deep rotator muscles as well as stretching out the hips. Deep rotator connection is subtle and hard to find which is why we have to go slow, and think deeply as we do the movements. Take some deep breathes and let’s go!

Strength for Développé

Prepare to have higher and stronger legs with this ultimate développé class. Exercises with the aid of the Pilates ball, theraband and ankle weights which will help you find and build all those deep and key muscles we need for strength and correct alignment.

Side Extensions and Mobility

With the aid of a stretch band, we will be taking your mobility and strength of extensions to the next level. Although this is a stretch class, the exercises are very dynamic making us warm and mobile from the inside out. Expect to not only feel more flexible when you’re done with this class but also to be much more aware of the muscles required in order to lift the legs high to the side and hold them there.

Level 3: 1. Advancing calf loading exercises to more challenging positions and further building tissue and tendon capacity. 2. Progressing single leg stability to include thoracic mobility perturbations and demi pointe stability challenge. 3. Learning to develop and control isometric plantar flexion as a stabiliser during movement. 4. Increasing range of movement to develop control of foot and ankle as well as hips into more dynamic positions. 5. To build plyometric and agility to be able to optimise control of single leg movement

This class is perfect for building strength and stability in the hips and glutes.  Perhaps you are struggling with landing from jumps with more stability, power when you jump or simply balancing on one leg in the centre be it in adage or turns. This is an excellent class to target all of these things. Suitable for everyone!

This Class is one of my most popular classes of all time and it’s back! Floor Barre is something that really helped me discover my turnout. I have drawn inspiration from floor barres I have crossed paths with over the years and added my own exercises as well. Connecting with the correct muscles can be hard but this class really helps you connect with those difficult turn out muscles we all need to find. If you do this regularly, your technique will vastly improve! Turnout will get better, balance, pirouettes. That’s what we want! This class can be for all levels, though it’s best for intermediate and up. Enjoy!

Grand Allegro Course

Welcome to The Grand Allegro Course. In this lesson, we will be building for jumping. This means training the thighs, core, hamstrings, hip flexors and glutes. These exercises will work your muscles to fatigue, building the strength required. Without the strength we will never get off the floor high enough to achieve a wonderful jump. Equipment you will need is a glute band/theraband, dumb bells, ankle weights and a small stool.

Isabella was a soloist with Mikhailovsky and Eifman ballet before returning to London and discovering her passion for teaching. Level 1 & Introduction

Level 1: Commonly injured area, demanding rep evolving. Arabesque and overuse settle quickly, muscle spasms, pathology to disc or bony structures like stress fractures, over use, lack of rest, lack of strength in back and core. 2. Importance of mobility of tx, can limit function of other areas, load transfer. 3. Controlling use of thoracic extn. 4. What is the core, common beliefs, 360 degree support, crunches, deeper muscles. 5. Anti extension scissors. 6. POS, learning to use the glutes with the back and closing the pelvis for support. 7. Working in box plank, dissociation. 8. Requirement for good hamstring length and effect on pelvis. 9. Working the side of our body, anti lateral flexion. Sh girdle, obliques, glutes. 10. Working the glutes for endurance in functional dance positions, dissociating from the back. 11. Working in functional compound movements.

Level 2

Achievements from level 1, tx mobility, activation of core 360. 2. Isolating lumbar spine extension, activating the muscles that support this. 3. Isolating the sh girdle, ability to ‘get shoulders down’ and connect the core. 4. Progressing the deadbug to straight leg and opp arm, longer levers and increased time under tension. 5. Combining 2 core areas in one exercise. 6. Glute max in more functional position. 7. Progressing deadlifts, compound, multiple muscle groups, correct alignment, dissociation.

Level 3

Learning objs from L1 and 2, mobilise all areas of your spine, what core is and how to find, L3 turns up the intensity to challenge you more and build more resilience. 2. Combining upper and lower back with scap stability, glutes on. L3 aiming to combine many muscle groups. 3. Reflecting on RA and TrA isolation, coupling these together, with increased intensity, using both legs together. 4. Using plank work to allow our body to fire up the core under body weight, learning to shift weight from one side to the other in a controlled way. 5. Side plank for functional training of our supporting leg. How easy this then is in standing.

Level 1: Foundation & Mobility (Weeks 1–3)
This level is about waking up the body and preparing it for deeper flexibility.
You’ll focus on:
Gentle mobility drills for hips, hamstrings, and hip flexors
Myofascial release techniques to reduce tension
Introductory stretches with proper alignment
Perfect for complete beginners or anyone returning to stretching after a break. The key here is consistency — showing up and giving your body time to adapt.

Level 2

Level 2: Active flexibility & Control (Weeks 4-6)
Now that your body is primed, we begin working on active flexibility and control.
You’ll focus on:
Longer hold times in foundational stretches
Chair- and block-assisted drills for depth and support
Active engagement of glutes, core, and legs to create true flexibility. Strengthening supporting muscles around the hips and pelvis. Dynamic stretches to build range and coordination
This level bridges the gap between flexibility and functional mobility — helping you go deeper with control, not force.

Level 3

Level 3: Find your full range (Weeks 7-9)
You’ve done the groundwork — now it’s time to commit to your full range.
You’ll focus on: Combining mobility, strength, and alignment in full split practice. Holding deeper splits with the aid of props (chair, blocks, wall)
Exploring full range in front and middle splits
Flow-style sessions to connect and challenge your flexibility
Learning your new go-to splits maintenance routine
This level is about owning your flexibility. Whether you’re fully flat or still a few inches away, you’ll come out of this with a strong, safe, and sustainable practice to carry forward.
