Course outline
About this course.
This course is the ultimate course to kickstart your journey to flat turnout. I used to go to physio therapists so they could predict if I could get flat turnout. My turnout was so bad, I had them measure my turnout weekly to track my progress. My director at Tring told my mother I would never be a dancer due to my turnout. Fast forward and I was stubborn, worked hard, went to The Royal Ballet School and later The Vaganova Academy where it’s flat turnout or go home! I decided to get flat turnout. Now it’s your turn!
Course breakdown.
In this lesson Isabella will be taking you through many exercises for your turnout. These exercises are designed to activate the correct muscles which you need to utilise to optimise your turnout. You will need a small towel or Pilates ball for some of the exercises.
In this lesson, Isabella will be teaching you exercises you can do at the barre, stretches and how to really utilise your turn out. After all, even if you know all the exercises, you need to understand how to put it into practice and execute the ballet movements effectively or you won’t reach your true turnout goals. I am so happy you have made it to doing this course. Please enjoy lesson 2! Do it in chunks, all in one go, it is entirely up to you. The beauty if these courses is you can come back whenever you like. This course is going to kick start your journey to getting you turnout goals.

Isabella McGuire Mayes
Founder
Isabella trained at The Royal Ballet School and then became the first British girl to join the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg at 15 where she studied for 4 years. She joined the Mikhailovsky Ballet in Russia as a soloist and later danced with Eifman Ballet.
