About this ballet balance course
We all need balance in life, don’t we? That’s precisely what this ballet balance course is about! This course will help you hold your arabesque balance longer, improve your turns, and make your dancing more impressive. We will cover exercises to strengthen crucial parts of the body for balance, discuss techniques to achieve balance quickly, and teach you how to balance on one leg with the leg above 90 degrees. Additionally, we will show you how to use your arms and legs effectively in class to achieve seamless movement with excellent balance.
You will need a theraband, a small Pilates ball, and a wobble board or foam balance block. This course is suitable for all levels.

Isabella McGuire Mayes
Founder
Isabella trained at The Royal Ballet School and then became the first British girl to join the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg at 15 where she studied for 4 years. She joined the Mikhailovsky Ballet in Russia as a soloist and later danced with Eifman Ballet.
