About this class.
This is my favourite ballet warm up routine to do before class.
When warming up, it’s important to target all the key muscle groups without exhausting yourself. This routine does exactly that, getting you warm, loose, and ready to dance.
You’ll stretch just enough to feel flexible, but not so much that you lose connection to your muscles.
At 30 minutes, it’s the perfect length for an effective ballet warm up routine.
If you’re new to stretching, feel free to modify the final few exercises.

Isabella McGuire Mayes
Founder
Isabella trained at The Royal Ballet School and then became the first British girl to join the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg at 15 where she studied for 4 years. She joined the Mikhailovsky Ballet in Russia as a soloist and later danced with Eifman Ballet.
