About this class:
This class focuses on building strong, mobile, and stable ankles so they stop being the weak link in your technique. Through targeted strength and active mobility work, you’ll improve ankle range of motion while developing the control needed for secure demi-pointe, pointe work, and clean foot articulation.
If you struggle with wobbling in pirouettes, unstable promenades, or feel like your ankles can’t support your balance no matter how much you practise, this class addresses the root of the problem. The exercises train strength at end range, helping you feel more grounded, controlled, and confident in turns and sustained poses.
Ideal for all levels, this class works well as a standalone conditioning session or as preparation before class or rehearsal.

Meet Your Teacher
Founder
Isabella trained at The Royal Ballet School and then became the first British girl to join the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg at 15 where she studied for 4 years. She joined the Mikhailovsky Ballet in Russia as a soloist and later danced with Eifman Ballet. Isabella then founded BWI and is working with dancers worldwide to help them achieve their goals.
