Suvi’s class follows the pattern of a basic intermediate ballet class including barre, center work, and allegro combinations with an emphasis on encouragement rather than critique. Rooted in the Vaganova method, the class places an emphasis on developing strength, flexibility, and coordination for a strong ballet technique. Students can expect to have a lot of fun and sore muscles the next day!

Who is this for?

  • Intermediate ballet students looking to refine their technique and skills
  • Dancers with some prior experience in classical ballet seeking to further develop their abilities
  • Students aiming to strengthen their understanding of ballet terminology, positions, and movements
  • Those interested in challenging themselves with more complex combinations and sequences in a supportive environment
  • Anyone who wants to enjoy movement with some wonderful music in a safe and encouraging environment

Who is this not for?

  • Beginners who have little to no experience in ballet and are unfamiliar with basic terminology and movements
  • Participants who are primarily interested in other dance styles and not specifically focused on classical ballet technique
  • Advanced dancers seeking highly specialized or professional-level training beyond the intermediate level
