If the student is late, the teacher reserves the right to not let the student in once the class has started.

The GYROKINESIS®  technique is the component of the GYROTONIC® method that doesn’t utilise equipment. It is usually taught as a group class and begins with exercises seated on stools followed by floor work and standing sequences. Movement and breath are harmonised in fluid patterns to stimulate all the systems in the body simultaneously. The focus is on rhythmic repetitions of a very wide repertoire of exercises which are developed to build strength, mobility, balance and stamina without force or strain.

    Who is GYROKINESIS® for?

    • The system is suitable for anyone but this class will be aimed at dancers of all levels.
    • It is not necessary to have prior experience of the technique.
    • The first part of the class takes place seated so you will require a stool or firm chair and a yoga mat.
    • It is suitable during pregnancy but please inform me in advance so I can suggest adaptations if necessary.

    Who is GYROKINESIS® not for?

    • An online class is not suitable for anyone with a serious injury.
