About this class:
Join Suvi with this intermediate pointe barre focusing on the stamina of the lower legs and feet. This class will work on the strength of the relevé working towards doing strong centre work. We all have desire for strong centre work but without the physical strength of the body, legs and feet in the first place we won’t be able to get the optimal results.
With this class we will be gaining a ton of strength in the lower legs and ankles for strong pointe work. Use as a staple in your strength routine.

Meet Your Teacher
Suvi Honkanen is a dancer from Helsinki. Suvi began dancing at the age of 3 and studied at the Helsinki Dance Institute’s specialized training program as well as at the Boulder Ballet School in the USA. She completed her professional dancer training at the Finnish National Opera Ballet School and also studied at the Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg under Irina Sitnikova. After graduating in 2010, she was hired by the Finnish National Ballet, where she danced for nine years in both classical works and contemporary dance repertoire, after which she has been employed as a freelance dancer internationally
